The SIC requires appropriate technological tools that interact with users and help to fully fulfil the functions entrusted to the entity. Implement new technology services that facilitate access to information for officials and citizens, allowing them to know and keep informed about the concepts and decisions made by the entity, visualizing and making transparent the actions of the entity.
Implement tools for the automation and simplification of online procedures for citizens by allowing them to track their status through the web portal.
SOLUTION
Implement a Search-Based Application for the SIC portal (www.sic.gov.co), within this application, tools were developed to promote rapprochement between the entity and the citizen, make visible the management of the SIC and encourage citizen participation.
The application allows users to consult on issues related to the rights and protection of consumers through the portal, the tool has the technological ability to understand the language of the citizen, provides citizens easy and comprehensive access to information about the management of the government and the entity, process applications and follow up on them, access information about concepts and decisions made by the entity, making transparent the actions of the SIC.
The Creangel Search-Based Application uses Google Search Appliance as part of its platform for website and database information consultation.
