Portal LegalApp
LegalApp is the portal designed by the Ministry of Justice for all citizens who need to know how to complete a procedure or use a service related to Colombian justice. Since the launch of LegalApp, the Ministry of Justice has made information on justice matters available to the public, with more than 1,300,000 monthly searches nationwide through the search engine on the LegalApp homepage. Citizens have access to a fast, high-quality search solution. This application also helps build public trust in the State.
The technology used in the search engine LegalApp has been developed by Creangel using artificial intelligence techniques, making the tool understand how citizens ask everyday questions, using words outside the context or vocabulary used by the entity. The LegalApp search engine is able to provide information in common language so that all Colombians understand the procedure to follow without having to hire a lawyer. The tool is easy to use, dynamic and agile. Creangel and LegalApp have managed to transform the use of information search into an unprecedented service experience.
Currently www.legalapp.gov.co/">LegalApp is honoured by the national Government and the Department of DAFP civil service, to the work done on the portal www.legalapp.gov.co and especially to the ease to find the information of more than 150 processes through the search engine that is available to the public to consult and obtain agile, free and clear information.
LegalApp Colombia as a leader in the Online Judicial Services Index by the Justice Studies Center of the Americas (CEJA), is consolidated as first in the ranking that evaluates 130 websites from 32 OAS countries.
LegalApp has exceeded the expectations of search consultations conducted by citizens at national level. Our commitment is to continue working with the hand of Ministry of Justice in updating the contents when new search results are available on the LegalApp portal, and that citizens have new information about how to do, what to do and where, in terms of justice.
